My family moved from Knoxville to this area when I started 9th grade. I met my husband in high school and we were married while I attended Bryan College. We have been happily married for 30 years. I have enjoyed a good portion of my adult life as a stay at home mom and have loved every minute of it. I met Jesus while in high school and have never been the same. I enjoy time by myself reading a good book or out in God’s creation. I love to go on a hike and be with my family.
About Jenny Fine
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My family and I reside right over the county line in Sale Creek. I am married to my wonderful husband, Barth, and have 3 beautiful children. We now also have recently been blessed with a precious daughter-in-law and grand daughter. We live on a cattle farm amongst other family members. We are just a regular family with our ups and downs and good times and bad times. We try to faithfully follow Jesus in it all.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I have been a Kindergarten teacher at Rigsby Elementary, a homeschool mom, a campus visit assistant at Bryan College and now back to homeschooling. The last year my attention has been on volunteering as the Expansion Coordinator for the Isaiah117 House. Being the Expansion Coordinator has been such a privilege and blessing. I have loved seeing God show up and do big things to bring Isaiah117 House to our community. I have also loved getting to know and work with some of the best people in Rhea and Bledsoe Counties in the process.
Q: What advice would you give to people?
See the person, love the person. Advice I have to give to myself daily. I can be very task oriented.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Hmm, loving my family, future grand babies! Wherever the Lord leads…
